Cement pipe making machines can be categorized into vertical, roller-type, and centrifugal types. When using a pipe making machine to produce cement pipes, the concrete mix ratio is generally based on the national standard C30 mix ratio (1:2:3), for example: 100 catties cement, 200 catties sand, and 300 catties gravel. The gravel diameter is selected based on the inner diameter of the cement pipe (generally, for cement pipes with an inner diameter of 300-600 mm, gravel with a diameter of 5-20 mm is best; for cement pipes with an inner diameter of 800-1500 mm, gravel with a diameter of 10-30 mm is needed).

The main steam curing process for cement pipes is as follows:

1. After the cement pipe is made on the cement pipe making machine, the cement pipe and the mold are hoisted into the steam curing tank for steam curing, which takes approximately 3-4 hours. The steam curing process requires three stages.

2. In the first stage, the temperature in the steam curing tank rises from a low temperature (30-40 degrees Celsius) to a high temperature (100 degrees Celsius) over approximately one hour.

3. The second stage requires maintaining the high temperature (around 100 degrees Celsius) for approximately one hour.

4. The third stage involves a temperature drop from high to low, also taking approximately one hour.

5. After 3 hours, the cement pipe is steam cured, and the concrete has solidified.

Cement pipes made by cement pipe making machines can be cured using either steam curing or natural curing methods. The above is an introduction to the steam curing process for cement pipes, which we hope will be helpful.
