When using well casing steel molds, it is important to pay attention to correct operating methods and standardized maintenance. Before operating cement pipe making machinery, users should familiarize themselves with the equipment's structure and relevant operating instructions. Proper use and maintenance of the machinery can extend its service life. When purchasing, choosing suitable, high-quality machinery and mold products is also crucial. Below, we will discuss relevant information about steel mold materials with the manufacturer.

The material of the well casing steel mold is a crucial factor affecting mold quality. The quality of the material significantly impacts the mold's strength and wear level. Strength primarily refers to the protection of the casing itself, while wear refers to the fastening bolts and running wheels. For the mold casing, domestic manufacturers most commonly use Q235 steel. However, this can be replaced with a superior material, Q345 low-alloy high-strength steel. Why high-strength steel? Its strength lies in its tensile strength, yield strength, and manganese content, all exceeding those of Q235. This low-alloy steel is more difficult to manufacture, significantly increasing both raw material and labor costs during mold production. Those with specific needs can have custom-made steel molds made from this material.

The material selection is also reflected in the mold's running wheels. These wheels are the load-bearing and friction points of the entire mold, and all power is transmitted from them. Therefore, their material cannot be simple; 45# steel becomes the preferred choice. Since there are no domestically available finished products for 45# running wheels, material proportioning and casting are required. Of course, the casting process still follows standard production methods. Using ordinary Q235 or Q345 steel for running wheels would simply be a lower-grade friction wheel, significantly reducing the mold's running wheel lifespan.
